Among Us is everybody’s favorite game to lie to & deceive your friends. We think this is one of our favorite phone games for couples who are looking for some good old-fashioned competition. A multiplayer game of friendship and betrayal.
This game doesn’t take much time to learn, and is wildly popular. We’ve played this phone game with our families and friends, and it has been so fun to bring us all together… and then immediately tear us all apart. Strongly suggest you give this a try!
2. Spaceteam
Spaceteam is a BLAST! Pun fully intended. I think this game is tons of fun for couples; and even more fun with a group of friends.
Pilot a spaceship together in this aptly cooperative shouting game; perfect for video calls & team building.
This game is fast-paced and challenging and I love seeing how far we can get in the levels before our spaceship burns into flames. Of all my favorite long distance relationship apps this one is definitely one of the best.

If you are a couple who like to compete with each other; this is definitely a good phone game choice for you. Compete with your partner to answer trivia questions in a variety of categories, and win prizes. A great app for long distance relationships to learn a little more about your partner: and of course to find out who is truly the Trivia Champion.
4. Really Bad Chess
For more chaos & fun, you should try “Really Bad Chess.” Of all the phone games for couples on this list, this one is the most fun and random. This game plays just like chess- but with totally random pieces. Challenge your partner to a chaotic game of skill & chance.

If you and your partner are creative or enjoy games like Pictionary: Draw Something is a great option for you. Take turns drawing prompts for your partner and sending them little inside jokes back and forth
This game is quick and easy and a perfect casual way to keep in touch and connected throughout the day. An advantage to this game, is that you don’t have to play live; which works out well for long distance couples with larger time differences.

UNO is a classic game that LDR couples can easily enjoy; and this free phone game makes it that much easier. We tried this bright and bubbly game by playing on a team 2v2 another group. We had fun, but we prefer to play against each other online using Tabletop Simulator.
This game is a great alternative for anyone looking to play on their phones instead of a desktop.
12. Words with Friends
Another classic free phone game for couples that follows a scrabble sort of template. This LDR phone game is a great brain bender for intellectual couples, and it can also be played across a time difference with taking turns. If you want to keep in touch with your partner and challenge your vocabularies together, this is a great game to try.

Skillful and silly and all sorts of fun: this free phone game for couples is a definite must-try. Great way to test which of you has the patience and the skills to beat the other if you ever get the chance to play a real game of golf!
Great way to combine both action and skill. I may not be a golf champion, but I have a shot when we play games online!

If you’re looking for an awesome virtual hangout, Play Together is a great free phone game for you. This interactive game lets you customize your characters, play minigames, and interact with groups in an online world.
The reviews of this game say it is amazing, has great achievements and missions, and that overall it is fun and vibrant. This easy to play game makes for a great long distance date, and is definitely worth checking out for an awesome experience.
15. Dark Stories
Dark Stories is a favorite of mine, although it isn’t as much of a ‘game’ as it is a story generator. If you like logic puzzles and have an active imagination, I’d suggest you and your partner give it a try. One person knows all the details of a story, while the other asks yes or no questions to determine the story behind a scene. Acting as a detective, you will piece together bits of the story until you have the response they have.
This is a great game to do over a voice call, and can even be done in groups. I like to do it particularly with new people, or with a few cold drinks for long distance date night.
